Planning Your Event
The band are always willing to listen to - and accomodate - individual requirements, however the following information should help to give an idea of a typical evening event.
For an evening performance you may choose between two formats. There is an option to have the band play two 45 minute sets, or two one-hour sets each with a 30 minute break in between. The timing should ensure that the band is not playing whilst food is being served.
Typically, we'd arrive at an evening event around 6:30 - normally the time hotel staff prepare a room for an evening reception. If the meal is to be served during this time then the band will aim to arrive when the meal and speeches have concluded.
As part of our service we are happy to provide appropriate ambient background music before we play and during our break. However, should you wish your evening's entertainment to continue after the band has finished you may wish to also consider booking a DJ to play to finish off the night.
We are often asked to arrive early afternoon or morning to set-up - in most cases this is impossible as the musicians have other daytime commitments. You must also consider that if the band is required to be at the venue for an extra few hours there will be an additional fee.
Please Note : In all cases the band requires between 45 minutes to an hour to set up and load equipment.
